Martyn Bell is originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, now living in Surrey. He is an actor, presenter, podcaster and voiceover artist. 

Martyn graduated with a Bachelor of Honours Degree in Acting from Newcastle College in 2011. 

Since then he has written and performed his own play 'Double Act', which premiered at Surgeons Hall as part of The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011. It ran for the full festival garnering positive reviews and notices for script writing and performances. In 2012 it was adapted for Spark FM radio and renamed Stick To The Act. He has provided additional material for a play focusing on the life of comedian Sir Norman Wisdom called Wisdom of a Fool


Martyn has worked at sea as an entertainment host, assistant cruise director & cruise director for a well known cruise company. He has worked behind the scenes at the BBC's Newcastle Studio, acted at London tourist attractions and line managed at an Escape Room.

He currently produces two podcasts, 'Creativity Talks' & 'The Canvas Chat'. Both of which can be found on iTunes. He also edits and creates videos for the YouTube channel SoHelena
