This week I interview the man at the back of the theatre making everything work. It's sound engineer Dan Barnes. He is one of the unsung heroes of production. We talk about the skills needed in his profession, the differences in sound checking for a theatre theatre performance & a live music gig, the challenges of venues, a charity show he is putting on called 'Cue for a Song' & his current position at the Capitol Theatre in Horsham. Since the interview, Dan & the performing artists featured in the charity show 'Cue for a Song' helped raise £3,000 for Cancer Research UK.
